I have purchased (and returned) both the Personal Microderm and Nubrilliance systems and find this far superior. The Personal Microderm system uses abrasive discs and suction - while I do think it's effective, it's also potentially more damaging and seems less safe for home use. If you stay on one spot too long, you could literally create an open and raw area. While all machines of this type pose some risk of irritation, it's far harder to control the results with the Personal Microdermabrasion system than Timepeel, in my opinion.Nubrilliance has a similar idea to Timepeel, but Timepeel executed it better. The main difference is the tip - Timepeel supplies just one, but it can be used all over the face. Nubrilliance provides 3 tips - one for the face/larger areas in both medium and coarse grits, and a small tip meant for the nose and other small areas.
